Language and Voice Configurations are essential settings that allow you to define the linguistic and vocal characteristics of your AI assistant. These settings are applicable to all project types within DigiMate, with slight variations in language support depending on the project type.
For Digital Human projects, the supported languages are limited due to lip-sync compatibility. The available languages include:
"English (United States, UK, and other dialects)", "Russian (Russia)", "Ukrainian (Ukraine)", "Chinese (Wu, Simplified)", "Spanish (Spain)", "German (Germany)", "French (France)", "Italian (Italy)", "Portuguese (Portugal)", "Polish (Poland)"
These project types support a broader selection of languages. This ensures that you can cater to a more diverse audience and provide a personalized interaction experience.
Configuration Categories
In the Language and Voice configuration tab, you will find two main categories:
This category allows you to set the language your AI assistant will use.
Based on the selected language, you can then choose a voice that matches the language. The system filters the available voices based on your language selection.
Before applying a voice, you can preview it by clicking on the sound icon. This feature ensures that you can select the voice that best fits your preferences and project requirements.
It is crucial to select the target language for your audience in this category.
This setting is essential for proper Speech-to-Text (STT) recognition, ensuring that the system accurately interprets the users' speech.
The system will expect your users to speak in the specific language you select, enhancing the accuracy and reliability of the AI assistant’s responses.
DigiMate uses Azure's Cognitive Services API to provide a wide range of voices and languages. This integration ensures high-quality and diverse language and voice options for your projects.
Additionally, DigiMate offers the ability to connect a customer’s cloned voice upon request. If needed, a user’s voice can be synthesized for AI use in their projects and added specifically to their account, providing a highly personalized and unique interaction experience.
By configuring the language and voice settings appropriately, you can ensure that your AI assistant communicates effectively and meets the linguistic preferences of your target audience. This customization enhances the overall user experience, making interactions more natural and engaging.
